What I packed in my Suitcase…..

You know the dilemma – what to pack when going away???

Well I can tell you what I packed, what worked well, what was the most comfortable and what got the most compliments….

Besides the obligatory swimwear and pool / beach sarong for the day,  I packed several little linen tunics/ dresses to wear over my favourite summer harem trousers.  These are perfect to breakfast or lunch, for a visit to town or sightseeing.  Why so perfect? so cool to wear, they look elegant and composed and can equally be worn over swimwear or underwear.  Being a bit curvy I am cautious about wearing only swimwear so prefer to cover up to feel comfortable and I loved it when my outfits drew loads of compliments too (Well – who wouldn’t??)  I kept a pair of white ones too for covering up from the sun – there was one day when my porr fair skin simply had to be covered asnd these are so perfect for just that!

For the evening – I treated myself to a few of the new jersey dresses in the tie dye effect – beautiful to wear against sun stressed skin, I loved the midi length blue tie dye and the really quirky bright orange tie dress with the hitch style belt across the front – I wore this with black leggings and my big black platform sandals – not a dress for shrinking violets as the colour is really vibrant but great to wear as it was sooohhh comfortable!

Another of my favourites was the silk layered skirt with matching top – so good i’m definitely going to have a black one for winter when I get home!  In fact so good I ordered more whilst I was away as i also have several messages from other happy customers wanting more of these!

Finally I also packed my favourite linen long linen – great to wear anytime, day, night, as a cover up or simply just for chilling – especially great when the holiday additional pounds seem to appear!
